From 2 september 2019 to 13 january 2020, Henk Stemerdink will exhibit his dynamic and landscape-inspired paintings at Gallery Aaldering in Brummen.
As an original landscape painter, educated at the Art Academy in Arnhem and inspired by the romantic English landscape painter Turner, he developed his own style with the “inner landscapes”, as he calls his work. They are abstract, dynamic paintings in which light, air, water and the connection with nature remains tangible. The dynamics of his abstract work can also be experienced in his realistic collection, Spanish Passion. In this series he shows the passion of Spanish flamenco dance.
